Nicolas is the Global Head of Retail and E-Commerce Strategy at Facebook. At Facebook, he is responsible for making the site take advantage of its heavy user volume and extended daily visits to influence purchases. Prior to Facebook, Nicolas spent more than seven years at eBay as the leader of their marketplaces strategy team and later as the general manager for eBay Motors and eBay Fashion. Nicolas started his career in Paris as a consultant for Arthur Anderson. He later worked as a strategic planner for Fortune 100 companies at the boutique consulting firm Mars & Co. in San Francisco.
In 2013, Vanity Fair ranked Nicolas the world’s 19th most influential French person in their France December issue. He holds a BS from ESCP Europe and an MBA from the Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley.
