Colgate-Palmolive is looking for a bright, energetic, creative and analytical full-time summer intern to help develop trend analyses and workshops, presentations and reports, and intranet web content.
There may also be an opportunity to work with the Global Consumer Insights group on projects involving review and analysis of research done in international markets, including Latin America, Europe and Asia.
The position will be within Colgate’s Global Market Intelligence group. This group is responsible for monitoring and communicating information about market and consumer trends and competitive intelligence to the global organization.
Qualifications/Requirements:
Both undergraduates and graduate students will be considered for this position.
Understanding of marketing and business a plus.
Excellent communication – written and verbal – skills required.
High degree of competence with Microsoft Word and Powerpoint
Knowledge of InDesign, Photoshop and Flash a plus
Competency in internet skills

Senior Strategists / Consultants operate as consultants for various different client accounts, assuming responsibility for a discrete part of the problem solving for each client engagement. They play a role in conducting research and gathering data, helping to organize the ideas generated by a cross-functional team, contributing to the development of final recommendations, and presenting their work to clients.
Senior Consultants are expected to expand their knowledge of industries and technologies while continuing to build their team and client leadership skills. Senior Consultants advocate for the right set of actions to implement a strategy and help create the necessary consensus within both the internal client team and the client's organization to achieve results. Background:
The ideal candidate for and Senior Strategist would have the following background:
An in depth understanding of the digital marketplace and/or agency background with at least three (5) years of work experience in Interactive Consulting, Interactive Marketing, Advertising, and/or Management Consulting
Should have experience working within the pharmaceutical industry
Prefer advanced degree, MBA, Marketing Communications or other related
Candidate must demonstrate: an ability to gather data and problem solve; strong presentation skills; knowledge of business and the Internet; and ability to work on a team.
